About Victus Chamber

The above named Chambers was founded in April 1993 by Dr Olanrewaju Aladeitan, Mr Kayode Fabunmi and other founding members who saw the need to provide students like themselves a platform to serve as an outlet for their talents for the Courtroom and outside the Courtroom. He saw the need to create a balance between Talent and Skill for young budding Lawyers in and outside the Legal Parlance.

VICTUS Chambers has remained one of the most prominent Organisations in the Faculty of Law with the aim of producing outstanding members for the Larger Society and also to be able to equip each Member with a substantial amount of responsibility. This is to enhance the capability of each Member of the Chambers, to be able to handle responsibilities, to not consider shying away from duties and obligations just leave it to be done by the members of the Executive.

In VICTUS Chambers, everyone is known, everyone is doing something, everyone is put to a duty that crushes that stumbling block of irresponsibility, we put it upon ourselves to make sure no one is ever left out. Talents are put to use specifically, Academics are paid attention to as much as the Social activities. It is inherent that we produce no Socially Awkward individual. It is not just enough to hold grounds in a Court, it is admirable and respectable to have a social life.

The motto therein hit the nail on the head : Towards Refinement, Sophistication and Upward Mobility . It therefore won't be crude to admit that VICTUS Chambers has a nick for producing Socially and Academically refined individuals.
